FORT STOCKTON - A suspected murderer is off the streets after turning himself in to Fort Stockton Police.

40-year-old Luis Bustamante Orona surrendered to authorities early Sunday morning.

Orona is accused of stabbing his girlfriend 26-year-old Mayra Fernandez Orona to death early Saturday morning.

He's currently in the Pecos County Jail.

Authorities are searching for a gray dodge pick-up that he was driving bearing Texas license plate AY6-5612.
