Midland Man Arrested for Tampering With Government Records

MIDLAND - A lie brings a mountain of troubles for a Midland man.

Police say 34-year-old Todd Martin forged work documents that he gave to his probation officer.

Martin claimed he was working for EP-CO.

Turns out the employer had never heard of him.

Martin is charged with tampering with government records, which is a third degree felony.

His bond is set at $10,000.

If convicted, he could spend 10 years behind bars.
