MIDLAND - A lie brings a mountain of troubles for a Midland man.
Police say 34-year-old Todd Martin forged work documents that he gave to his probation officer.
Martin claimed he was working for EP-CO.
Turns out the employer had never heard of him.
Martin is charged with tampering with government records, which is a third degree felony.
His bond is set at $10,000.
If convicted, he could spend 10 years behind bars.
