The battle over water in Fort Stockton is heating up again.
Oilman Clayton Williams company, Fort Stockton Holdings, is starting the appeals process.
You'll remember Williams wanted a permit to pump water from his land in Pecos County to the Midland Odessa area, but the City of Fort Stockton, along with several others were against it.
Last month, the Middle Pecos Groundwater Board denied that permit
Now, Fort Stockton Holdings is fighting back.
A special meeting will be held by the Middle Pecos Groundwater Board on Friday morning
They'll discuss fact findings and why they denied the permit application.
