New Pecos City Manager Could be Named on Wednesday

PECOS - A new city manager could be taking the reins soon in Pecos.

The former city manager, Joseph Torres, was found dead in his home, after being indicted for indecency with a child.

The search has been narrowed down to four candidates.

On Wednesday, a City Council meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and all four of the candidates will be interviewed.

Mayor Venetta Seals tells NewsWest 9, there is a chance that a candidate could be chosen.
