MIDLAND - A Midland man is accused of holding a blade to a family member's throat then leading police on a chase.

24-year-old Christopher Gollihar faces several charges including evading arrest.

Police say it all started when they checked out a domestic disturbance call at a house.

The family member, a woman, claimed Gollihar choked her during an argument.

He had already left when officers arrived.

Two hours later, they spotted him in his car and the chase began.

Police say he stopped at the Walgreens on Big Spring Street and dragged the same victim out of the car with a blade to her throat.

Police managed to get it away from him before she was hurt.
