Fourth of July Celebrations Across West Texas


July 4th: Firecracker Fandango

             Downtown Odessa from 6 pm to Midnight.

             Food, games, kidz zone, teen area, and 8 live bands.

             $7 in advance at Rosa's Cafe

             $10 at the gate

             Under 7 years old are free.




Fireworks Show after the games at Grande Communications Stadium.

July 2nd: Rockhounds vs. ARK at 7 pm.

July 3rd: Rockhounds vs. SPR at 6 pm.

July 4th: Rockhounds vs. SPR at 6:30 pm.



July 2nd: "Funtastic Fourth" Festival

              At Heart of the City Park from 10 am to 12 pm.

              10 am: Patriotic Pooch Contest

              11 am: Pet/Owner Look-A-Like Contest

              2 pm: Hot Dog Eating Contest

              4 pm: Live Tejano Music, beer sales begin.

              130 craft vendors, 15 food vendors and live bands, John Deer tractor rides and a huge kid zone area.

             At Comanche Trail Park Ampitheater.

             5 pm: Gates Open, food, novelty booths.

             6 pm: Fab 4 Beatles Tribute Band.

             8 pm: Symphony and Flag Ceremony

             9:45 pm: Symphony and Fireworks.

July 2nd-3rd: 8th Annual Heath Hamilton Memorial Roping, 9 am.

July 4th: "Freedom Fest" 8:30 am -11 pm

              6-11 pm: Laser Light Show

              6-8 pm: "Texas Rain" Dance

              8 pm: Patriot Laser Show

              9-11 pm: "Noel Olivas" Dance



July 3rd: 9 pm- Midnight

             Live band and dance at the James Rooney Memorial Park.

July 4th: 10 am to 10 pm

             Vendors, dodgeball & baseball tournaments, etc. at James Rooney Memorial Park.



July 4th: Parade starts at 5 pm at the Porters Grocery Store (on 5th St.) runs to the City Park.

             There will be booths and music.



July 4th: "Old Fashioned" 4th of July Parade in Buffalo Gap.

July 4th: Fireworks Display at the Zoo.

             6-9pm Zoo and BBQ.

             After Dark: Fireworks and music

             Adults $25/ Kids 3-8 yrs old $10/ Under 3, free.

             Tickets include Zoo entrance, bbq plate, and show.

                    Starts at 8 pm.

              Downtown at 10 am.

              & Fireworks display: Colts Game 7:00 pm

July 3rd: Pops Concert: Symphony & Fireworks at the river.

             Opens at Noon.

             Bands start at 7:00 pm

             Symphony starts at 8 pm.

July 4th: "Freedom Fest"

              6:30 pm at Paul Ann Baptist Church

              & Fireworks Display at Nasworthy Lake, at 9 pm.


July 4th: 11:45 am: "Fun Day" at the County Park

             Kermit & Winkler Co. Fire Dept. Tribute

             Burgers will be sold, sackhorse races, horseshoe and egg toss...etc.

             Cow Patty Bingo (sold out)

             2:00 pm: Dress Your Pet Contest

             4:00 pm: Water Balloon Fight

             7-8:30 pm: "Firecracker Bingo" (no firecrackers)

             8-11 pm: Street Dance with D.J.



July 4th: 10 am: "Freedom Parade" at the High School Park.

             11 am: BBQ honoring vets and firefighters.
