Andrews Woman Accused of Helping Boyfriend Burglarize Odessa Home

An Andrews woman is behind bars after being accused of helping her boyfriend burglarize an Odessa home.

32-year-old Layla Melendez is being held in the Ector County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.

According to the arrest affidavit, Melendez admitted to helping her boyfriend rob a home in east Odessa back in April.

The woman's boyfriend, Misael Natera, has been in jail since April on burglary charges.
