Three Mobile Homes Destroyed in Midland County, Two Children to Blame

MIDLAND COUNTY - Three mobile homes go up flames on Thursday afternoon in Midland County and two children are being blamed for accidentally sparking it.

Firefighters were called out to East County Road 136 to battle the flames.

Three families are now left with nothing after the fire destroyed their homes.

The Red Cross is helping out the families.

A total of 12 people have been affected.

Fire officials tell NewsWest 9, a 5 and a 6-year-old were playing with a lighter when the fire started.

The children were not hurt and all the families got out safely.
