Arson Suspected in Several Odessa Fires

ODESSA - Arson is suspected in several Odessa fires that started early Tuesday morning.

The first was a grassfire that sparked up at Northstar and University.

Several homes were evacuated and one home was damaged when the flames spread to an attic.

It burned an acre of land on a vacant lot.

A second fire flared up nearby.

Firefighters were called out to the 7100 block of Venita.

The fire started on the side of the home and burned down a shed in the backyard.

Arson is also suspected in a third blaze that sparked upon west Pawpaw and south Klondyke.
