ODESSA - Get ready to cut back on your water use even more. The City of Odessa is tightening their water restrictions.

It's all because people are using way to much water.

Beginning July first, Odessans will only be allowed to water two days a week.

If you have an even numbered address, you'll be able to water on Tuesday and Saturday.

For odd numbers, it's Wednesday and Sunday.

Watering times are still the same from 6 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning.

And that's not all.

You can't wash your car at your home; you'll have to go to a car wash.

Washing your sidewalks, driveways, parking lots or gutters are also banned and make sure to fix any water leaks.

Remember these restrictions are mandatory.

If you're caught, you could face up to a $2,000 fine.

The restrictions don't apply to water wells.
