Waste Control Specialists has signed their first contract with a non-Texas waste generator.

According to Waste Control Specialists, they have entered into a contract with the Tennessee Valley Authority.

WCS will complete construction later this year on their facility that is designed for disposing of low-level radioactive waste.

WCS is currently the only commercial facility in the U.S. licensed to dispose of low-level radioactive waste.
