Emily joined the Storm Tracker 9 Weather Team in March of 2011. You can watch her forecasts every morning on NewsWest 9 Early Sunrise and Sunrise from 5 AM to 7 AM. She comes to West Texas after starting her career in her hometown of Corpus Christi, TX at KZTV. While in Corpus Christi, she had the opportunity of tracking tropical and severe weather.

Her curiosity of weather took her to College Station to pursue a degree in meteorology. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a minor in Communications from Texas A&M University.

During college, she was very involved on campus. She was an active member of the Texas A&M student chapter of the American Meteorological Society, a lead forecaster for the Texas Aggie Storm Chasers organization, and a coordinator for the Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting group.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, volunteering, playing with her pekapoo Bella, making jewelry, and reading. She's excited to be a part of the Storm Tracker 9 Weather Team, and looks forward to exploring her new home.
