MIDLAND - A former Winkler County Hospital Administrator took the stand on Wednesday in the trial against Winkler County Sheriff Robert Roberts.
As part of a plea deal, Stan Wiley plead guilty to a lesser charge in return for helping prosecutors.
You'll recall Wiley fired two nurses who complained to the state board about local Doctor Rolando Arafiles.
Sheriff Robert Roberts arrested and charged the pair.
Roberts is accused of official oppression, misuse of official information and retaliation.
On Tuesday, one of those nurses, Anne Mitchell, took the stand along with two of the Doctor's former patients.
