BIG SPRING - NewsWest 9 has learned that the Colorado River Municipal Water District has voted to cut its water delivery rates to West Texas cities by another 10 percent.

This means Big Spring, Midland, Odessa and Snyder will have the amount of water allocated to them slashed by a total of 20 percent on July 1. The CRMWD had already cut the water limits by 10 percent earlier this year.

This could mean stricter water restrictions for area residents as both Midland and Odessa have been exceeding their water use limits recently.
