Midland Man Facing More Charges

MIDLAND - A Midland man allegedly involved in a bar shooting now faces assault charges. 39-year-old Robert Medellin now faces charges of aggravated assault.

Police say he attacked a man on the same night he was involved in the shooting outside of the Lonestar Bar. Medellin broke the victim's nose and gave him a concussion.

The victim told police he didn't know his attacker, but recognized Medellin on the front page of the newspaper. If convicted, Medellin could serve up to 20 years in prison.
