ODESSA- The man accused in the brutal murder of an Odessa couple won't be getting out of jail.

A judge denied 27-year-old James Doyle Burwell bond on Tuesday.

Odessa police picked up Burwell from Lubbock on Monday night.

Burwell was found in a Lincoln Navigator that belonged to the victims.

We're told the bodies of Dick and Peggy Glover were discovered by workers who were remodeling inside of their home on Fair Oaks Circle in Odessa.

Investigators say a pattern on Burwell's blood-stained boots matches boot prints found at the crime scene.

Police tell NewsWest 9, they're confident they have their killer.

Right now, they're not releasing details on how the couple was killed or the nature of their relationship with Burwell, that's being handed to the district attorney's office for the grand jury.

Burwell is facing capital murder and robbery charges.
