MIDLAND - Congressman Mike Conaway made a special appearance at the annual Peace Officer's Memorial.
The service was to remember and honor officers who were killed in the line of duty.
18 officers have died in the past year protecting the community.
The memorial was hosted by the Midland Police Department.
It's all a part of law enforcement week.
