MIDLAND - The owner of the controversial Blue Ridge Apartments in Midland will have to wait a little longer before the City Council approves changes he been made at the complex.
Members were supposed to tour the apartments on Tuesday to make sure the developer, Ken Lokey, was making good on his promise to fix problems with the buildings.
You'll remember some of the apartments were built facing the wrong way, allowing future tenants to see directly into homeowner's backyards off of Caldera Boulevard.
At an earlier council meeting, Lokey was given the green light to put shutters and films over windows on the third story units to fix the problem.
Council members decided to push back their viewing of the buildings until they're closer to being completed in July.
