MIDLAND - Additional charges have been filed against a man charged in a deadly DWI accident in Midland.
You'll remember Robert Booth was arrested over the weekend for killing a 50-year-old Eva Jones in a deadly crash.
Booth was allegedly driving drunk.
Now he's been charged with having a controlled substance in jail, which is a felony.
According to authorities, Booth was smoking cigarettes in the jail, shortly after he was released from the hospital.
He told corrections officers he wasn't searched when he came back from the hospital and he had the cigarettes on him.
His bond is set at more than $1 million dollars.
