Third Student Pleads Guilty to Burglary Charges

ODESSA - A third Permian High student pleads guilty to breaking into a woman's house and stealing two laptops.

19-year-old Ruben Ochoa was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication and a $500 fine.

Adjudication means he has to stay out of trouble for four years.

Ochoa also has to pay $1,000 in restitution.

Tommey James Morris and Braxton Hudgens have already pleaded guilty to the burglary and received the same sentences.

Gordon Dante Palmer's court date is set for June 27th.

According to police reports, the four students broke into a home on Custer Avenue in September.

They stole two laptops, each worth $400, and caused $100 in damage to the doorframe.
