It's no secret the Red Cross has been working overtime to help wildfire victims. Now someone is reaching out to help them.
Whataburger gave the Red Cross $10,000 for the relief effort.
The director of the Red Cross says he's overwhelmed by the generosity.
"Oh my goodness, the best part of the check is the people who are actually going to benefit from it. Those are the folks who really need it. Those are the folks who have suffered whether it be a wildfire," Bob Rice, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Southwest Texas, said.
The money will be used for food, clothing, shelter and even medication for the victims.
