Two Men Arrested in Connection With Fatal Accident in Andrews

ANDREWS - Two men are behind bars after a deadly accident in Andrews.

The accident happened Sunday afternoon just before one on Main Street and Southwest Avenue "E" in Andrews.

Police say two men were racing when they slammed into a car driven by 48-year-old Irma Macias.

Macias was taken to the hospital in Andrews where she died.

19-year-old Allen Zamora and 26-year-old Moses Casares, Junior, have both been charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Police say multiple witnesses saw the two racing before the accident.

Andrews Police say they are still investigating.
