Midland High Student Accused of Selling Prescription Drugs to Another Student

MIDLAND - A Midland High School student is in big trouble after allegedly selling prescription drugs to another student.

M.I.S.D. Police were called to the campus Monday morning after a teacher says he saw 18-year-old Carlos A. Angeles sell pills in a school restroom.

Angeles is accused of selling three muscle relaxers to another student for $20.00.

According to the arrest affidavit, when police searched the teen, they found an additional muscle relaxer and three hydrocodone pills.

Angeles has been charged with felony distribution of a dangerous drug.

His bond is set at $100,000.

If convicted, he could spend up to 10 years in prison.
