A small lizard could soon be on the endangered species list
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has reopened the public comment period of putting the sagebrush lizard on the endangered list.
Two meetings are planned that you can attend.
The first one will be April 27th in Midland.
The second will be the 28th in Roswell, New Mexico.
Biologists say the lizard faces threats from oil and natural gas development in the area.
