ODESSA - There is new information about an inmate escape at the Ector County Detention Center back in January.
Sheriff Mark Donaldson says right now there's no indication that any officer was involved in that break out. Sheriff's officials say it was a policy violation and it will be handled internally.
Three men were able to escape, but they were caught several hours later. Two of the same inmates who escaped in January escaped again in March.
