An accused murderer is heading to trial for a second time.

The trial of Johnny Lee Wells will start on Tuesday.

He's charged with the 1990 murder of Virginia Washelesky.

Wells' first trial earlier this month was declared a mistrial after it was discovered that one of the jurors could not write or read English.

DNA evidence landed Wells behind bars in 2004.

He was later indicted for capital murder.
