MIDLAND - A police search lands a Midland woman behind bars.

24-year-old Hope Hernandez is behind bars on a $50,000 dollar bond.

She's accused of running a drug operation out of her home.

The Midland mother is charged with a third degree felony of marijuana possession and a second degree felony of endangering her child.

Police were called out to the woman's home just after midnight Tuesday in the 1800 block of north Midland Drive.

According to the arrest affidavit, they showed up for a disturbance call.

Hernandez told police she was alone and that her boyfriend had just left but police apparently saw him in the home.

Because of her suspicious behavior they searched the house and found baggies, roaches, pipes, and bags of marijuana in a room where Hernandez had her two month old and another a five-year-old also lives in the home.
