ODESSA - Police said two men started a crime spree that lasted just about 20 minutes in Odessa on Friday morning.

It all happened pretty quickly, but police were also just as quick to catch the suspects.

Those men are now in custody at the Ector County Jail.

Around 10:45 a.m. Friday morning, 20-year-old Erasmo Zapata Jr. and 19-year-old Marcus Daniel Guerrero went to the EZ Money Loan Services and demanded cash from the employees. One of them flashed a handgun.

They fled in a maroon Cadillac and made their next stop at a 7-11 off of Kermit Highway and Golder.

Then shortly after 11:00 a.m., police said the suspects robbed one more 7-11 on W. University before they were caught.

Witnesses at each location gave police similar descriptions of the two suspects and their car.

Police spotted them driving just a couple of minutes after the last robbery. They were pulled over and surrendered without incident.

Zapata and Guerrero are now facing three charges each of aggravated robbery. Those are first degree felonies.

Thankfully no one was hurt in any of those robberies.
