Search Continues for Aggravated Robbery Suspect

ODESSA - Odessa Police still on the hunt for a man who robbed a convenience store manager on Thursday.

Police tell NewsWest 9, the woman was robbed in the parking lot of the 7-11 on Tanglewood.

The woman says a passenger in a Chevy Avalanche got out of the car and demanded her purse and store money bag.

When she hesitated, he lifted up his shirt and showed her a gun tucked into his pants.

The suspect grabbed the purse and money bag, and both men drove away.

Police caught up with the vehicle and arrested the driver, 30-year-old Jammal Rashad Johnson.

He's charged with aggravated robbery.

His passenger was nowhere to be found.
