Woman Sentenced to Probation for Writing Fraudulent Prescriptions

MIDLAND - Five years of probation, that's the sentence for a Greenwood woman who wrote fraudulent prescriptions.

According to Judge Robert Junell's Office, Misty Tullos wrote 163 fraudulent prescriptions for herself, while she worked for Midland dentist Dr. Frank Kasman.

Those pills contained hydrocodone.

Tullos was arrested back in October and she plead guilty in December.

On Thursday, Judge Junell ordered her to pay more than $9,000 in restitution;

She also was fined $3,000 by the court and will pay a $100 fee to the crime victim's fund.
