New information on a series of accidents along I-20 on Friday night.
Midland Police tell NewsWest 9, the first accident happened just before 6 p.m. at Midkiff and I-20.
The driver of a white Mustang was traveling eastbound on the inside lane, when she swerved to avoid hitting a dog.
She left the roadway, rolled her vehicle and came to a stop on the inside westbound lane.
The 17-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
That wreck caused two other accidents, a driver rammed into the back of a truck that was slowing down to avoid the first wreck.
In the third accident, both drivers were distracted by the second wreck.
Traffic was down to one lane on westbound I-20 for about two hours.
No other injuries were reported.
