Odessa Teen Sentenced for Stealing Checkbooks, Social Security Cards

An Odessa teen will spend the next two years in jail for stealing checkbooks and social security cards.

18-year-old Nicholas Howell was arrested back in October.

He lived at his dad's home and that's where police found checkbooks and social security cards of victims who had reported their homes broken into.

Howell plead guilty to two burglary charges on Thursday.

He was sentenced to two years in prison.
