A North Dakota man is headed to prison for scamming a Midland energy company.
49-year-old Ricky Wolla took part in a fake billing scheme.
He pled guilty last year to mail fraud where he and two other former employees of Basic Energy falsely billed the company for goods and services that were never provided.
The scheme lasted for three years and totaled more than half a million dollars.
