A call out to people in Odessa with outstanding warrants, the city is asking you to pay up.

The Great Texas Warrant Roundup kicks off Saturday, March 5.

If you have a warrant, you're asked to pay it off or you risk being arrested.

"We really don't wanna have to go out and knock on doors or walk in a person's place of business to drag them down to the court or the jail," Judge David Jones, with the Odessa Municipal Court, said. "That's really not productive.  But we will do it if we have to.  We're just trying to get as many folks to take care of their responsibilities the normal way prior to us having to do that."

To avoid landing behind bars, you can go to the Odessa municipal court and pay with cash, check or money order.

You can even pay online with a credit card.

Starting Monday and lasting through March 4, the city is even waiving the $50 warrant fee.
