MIDLAND - The Midland Chamber of Commerce will have a familiar face taking over.
Bobby Burns has officially been named the President and CEO.
If you recognize Burns, there's a good reason, he's was once the Mayor of Midland.
He currently serves as Director of the John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership.
Burns says being appointed President of the Chambers has always been a big dream of his.
"Even when I was in college I was preparing to be a CEO of the Chamber," Burns said. "When I was in college, I wanted to be a city manager or CEO so today I have the opportunity to do that in a city I love and care about."
