ODESSA – New details have been released in connection with a bomb threat at an Odessa store.
Odessa Police have confirmed to NewsWest 9 that the Wal-Mart on 42nd and JBS Parkway has been cleared.
On Thursday afternoon, Police say a bomb threat was called in by a man to Wal-Mart and Odessa 911 at 1:18p.m. threatening to detonate a bomb.
Wal-Mart decided to evacuate the store at 3:00p.m.
The Odessa Police Bomb Squad was called in to investigate.
No word if any suspicious packages were found.
Wal-Mart hopes to reopen after 7:00p.m. on Thursday night.
