Midland Mom Arrested for Allegedly Leading Police on High Speed Chase

One Midland mom is in hot water after leading police on a high speed chase with her one year old child in her car.

Police arrested 26-year-old Vanessa Chavez.

She's accused of leading police on the high speed chase.

Officers tell NewsWest 9, they pulled Chavez over after they saw her driving on the wrong side of the road.

When they questioned her, we're told she gave them several fake names.

They asked her to get out of the car and that's when she took off.

Police eventually got her to stop.

Chavez was charged with endangering a child.

Her bond is set at $45,500.
