MIDLAND - Local human rights activists gathered outside of Planned Parenthood in Midland on Monday.

They were there to protest underage sex trafficking.

It all had to do with a recent undercover video investigation that allegedly caught Planned Parenthood in New Jersey aiding underage sex trafficking of girls as young as 14.

They want congress to strip Planned Parenthood of nearly $400 million in annual taxpayer funding.

Vigils like the one in Midland took place across the country on Monday.

"Most recently in these last three weeks, they are willing to perform abortions on prostitutes that are underage," Mike Banschbach with Pro-Life Midland, said.

That undercover footage reportedly showed Planned Parenthood workers in New Jersey aiding undercover investigators posing as pimps.

The video claims they were providing secret abortions and other sex services to underage victims of human trafficking.
