MIDLAND - Proposed changes to the controversial Blue Ridge Apartments in Midland were given final approval by the City Council on Tuesday.

You'll remember, the Apartment's developer Ken Lokey, submitted the proposed changes last month.

The designs are supposed to fix the problem of tenants being able to see in backyards of homes off Caldera Boulevard.

That problem came to light after some of the apartment buildings were built facing the wrong way.

Homeowners say their property values have gone down since the apartment buildings went up

Those owners told NewsWest 9, they were considering legal action depending on the City Council's decision.
