A big grant is coming for Midland's wildlife preserve and Jenna Welch Nature Study Center.
The center will receive one million dollars from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
New additions will include more trails, bridges and bird blinds.
It's all slated to be done by this time next year.
The grant comes in addition to the $750,000 the center already raised.
The plans also include space for a hawk tower, viewing platforms and a butterfly garden.
