NEW MEXICO - While West Texas took a big hit of the storm, New Mexico had it even worse.
That's why the Governor of New Mexico has declared a state of emergency.
Right now, tens of thousands of people across the state are without natural gas services.
The New Mexico Gas Company says they're working to fix the problem after high demand disrupted services.
The company also says the rolling blackouts across Texas didn't help either; it halted the delivery of the natural gas coming into the state.
Emergency shelters have been opened across the area.
