Police Investigating Shooting at Betty’s Place

MIDLAND - Patrons at a Midland bar got a little more than they bargained for.

Police tell NewsWest 9, a gunshot was fired at Betty's Place on south 'A' Street just after 6:30.

We're told the owner of the bar got into a fight with a bartender.

At some point, a semi-automatic 45 was fired.

No one was hit but the owner was taken to Midland Memorial for injuries he suffered in the fight.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
