If you have tickets to see hip hop artist Nicki Minaj in Midland this weekend, make other plans as the concert's off and it's all because of a scam.
Minaj was supposed to perform at the Clarion Hotel this Friday but the hotel manager says it's not going to happen.
At a press conference on Wednesday night, he said the New York agency they booked the concert with turned out to be a fake.
The online company has no ties to Minaj who is currently touring in London.
The manager wants to stress they're still working to bring her back to town at a later date.
And as for this Friday's concert, all 450 people who bought a ticket will get a full refund.
"We are gonna bring Nicki Minaj to Midland, Texas, and we are going to do it the correct way. We're gonna make sure that everyone knows it's a legit concert and we're gonna bring her here soon," Clarion Manager, Medric Sydnor, said.
Managers say you can bring your ticket to the Clarion on west Wall Street this Friday after 3 p.m. to get your money back.
