ODESSA - A few people in Odessa had to deal with water problems on Thursday after the power was shut off at the water treatment plant.

We're told ONCOR was replacing a transformer and had to switch to the plant's generator to get the job done.

The problem was the plant's generator couldn't take the power load.

The electricity at the water plant was shut off, so it couldn't treat or pump any water.

All repairs have been made.

The city says the outage didn't cause a major water shortage.
