Man Accused of Shooting Two Ector County Deputies Pleads Not Guilty

ECTOR COUNTY - The man accused of shooting two Ector County deputies and starting a nearly day long standoff has pleaded not guilty.

Victor White was arraigned on Monday in an Ector County court and entered the not guilty plea.

Authorities say White shot two deputies back in September and then held officers at bay from his West Odessa compound.

White remains in the Midland County Jail.

White is facing three counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and one count of aggravated assault.
