Police Searching for Suspect in Connection with Fatal Shooting in Odessa

ODESSA - The Odessa Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting. It happened early Tuesday morning around 3:20 at the Odessa Motor Inn in the 2000 block of East 2nd Street.

OPD says they found a man lying in the parking lot of the motel. He had been killed by a gunshot wound to the chest. Witnesses at the scene told police that the victim and an unidentified suspect were arguing in the parking lot when they heard a gunshot.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Freddie Hall III of Odessa.

After further investigation, police have issued an arrest warrant for murder. Police are looking for Christopher Antonio Redic. Redic is described as a black male, 5'9" tall, 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say this suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
