ODESSA - A trial date has been set for the Permian High imposter.

Guerdwich Montimer will face a judge the first week of August.

You may recall the 22-year-old is accused of posing as a 16-year-old high school student.

He was a star basketball player for Permian.

Police say he used the name Jerry Joseph to enroll.

Montimer faces charges of sexual assault of a child, tampering with government records and falsely identifying himself to a peace officer.

A 15-year-old girl came forward claiming she had sex with Montimer but didn't know his real age.

Montimer was busted earlier this year after his former high school coaches from Florida spotted him at a basketball tournament in Arkansas.
