MIDLAND - The Midland City Council will once again take-up a controversial discussion about an apartment complex this week.
At a public hearing Tuesday night, the Council will look at a zoning change request by the developer of the Blue Ridge Apartments off Loop 250 near Whitman.
That complex was built not following the original plans that were approved by the city.
The changes left some apartment buildings facing a nearby neighborhood and apartment residents would be able to look into the backyards of homes.
Officials hope some changes by the developer will be enough to satisfy residents who think the apartments have taken away their privacy and hurt their property values.
The public hearing is Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Midland City Hall.
