AUSTIN - More opposition from groups looking to bury low-level radioactive waste in West Texas.

About 25 people protested at a public hearing in Austin.

The hearing was on proposed rules for transporting low level radio active waste to Andrews County for storage.

That waste will becoming in from 35 states.

Those who protested say the proposed rules are being rushed, the 30 day comment period isn't long enough and the effort to allow waste from that many states should be flat out rejected.
